As the song 'Everyday', 'Bounce' is on the album 'Bounce' released in 2002. It is also one of the songs that are directly influenced by 9/11 which can be seen in its extremly strong lyrics and
the even more obvious optimism than usually.
The chorus for example, tells us to move on and to be strong: 'Bounce, bounce, nothings' gonna keep me down, bounce, bounce, stand up, shout it out', but also some lines in the second part
explain that life is hard, especially the recent days, but that we have to go on and live again because it doesn't get better anyway: 'Kicked around, cut, stitched and scared, I'll take the hit
but not the fall, I know no fear, still standing tall'.
